As a sole practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience as a commercial lawyer and 15 years’ experience as the owner 5 successful retail/hospitality businesses, I am in the special position of being well placed to understand the needs of BF Brokers’ clients.
I provide general commercial advice in most aspects of business activity and regularly act for clients:
- selling or acquiring businesses, whether they are franchises or independently owned;
- acquiring or disposing of shares/units in companies/trusts (usually involving shareholders’/unit holders’ agreements);
- setting up structures within which to operate their businesses;
- who require general commercial legal advice on issues impacting upon their business.
Having been active in the hospitality industry I have also developed a niche area catering (pardon the pun!) specifically to those in that industry.
For me it is crucial to provide personal attention and build relationships with my clients and at the same time to deliver a professional, efficient and cost effective legal service.
I am the honorary legal counsel to the Australian Institute of Business Brokers (AIBB) and have held that appointment for several years.
